RISK & SAFETY INFORMATION

Our Commitment to You

Updated: April 2026

Your safety and wellbeing matter to us. We provide professional passenger transport across a range of services, including airport transfers, medical travel, tourism journeys, and hosted famil programmes.

We maintain high standards across our vehicles, drivers, and operations. At the same time, travel on public roads carries inherent risks. This page outlines those risks, along with the responsibilities we share with you as a passenger.

Nature of Our Service

We operate shared and private shuttle services across urban, rural, and inter-regional routes. All services take place on public roads and are subject to real-time conditions outside of our control.

By travelling with us, you acknowledge that transport services are dynamic and may be affected by traffic, weather, and operational factors.

Key Risks to Be Aware Of

Road & Traffic Conditions

  • Traffic congestion, roadworks, and detours can impact travel times
  • Road surfaces may vary (including wet, icy, or uneven conditions)
  • Incidents involving other road users, while uncommon, can occur

Weather Conditions

  • Reduced visibility from rain, fog, or frost
  • Severe weather may delay or disrupt services

We adjust driving and scheduling decisions to prioritise safety at all times.

Timeliness & Scheduling

  • Flight delays or early arrivals can affect timing
  • Earlier passenger delays may impact later pick-ups
  • Traffic conditions can change quickly

While we plan carefully, we cannot guarantee exact arrival times. We communicate any delays as early as possible.

Passenger Health & Wellbeing

  • Fatigue or discomfort during travel
  • Medical events during journeys
  • Mobility challenges when entering or exiting vehicles

Our drivers provide practical support and can arrange emergency assistance if needed. However, we are not a medical transport provider.

Entering & Exiting Vehicles

  • Risk of slips, trips, or falls
  • Uneven ground or weather conditions may increase risk

Please take care and ask for assistance if needed.

Luggage Handling

  • Risk of strain or injury when lifting items
  • Potential for minor damage during handling or transit

We assist with luggage, but passengers remain responsible for their belongings.

Shared Transport Environment

  • Close proximity to other passengers
  • Exposure to seasonal illness

We encourage good hygiene practices and may recommend mask use when appropriate.

How We Manage Risk

We actively manage risk through:

  • Regular vehicle maintenance and safety checks
  • Driver training in safe driving and passenger care
  • Real-time communication and operational oversight
  • Incident reporting and continuous improvement
  • Compliance with all New Zealand transport regulations
